Professly was one of my early projects as a UX designer. I really learned a lot working on this project most of the stuff was user interface and not user experience related. This is a platform where users can search for online courses and also helps in job seeking.

In this project I have to create this website for two platforms,desktop and also mobile. The client budget was also tight and they didn’t want any UX process performed on it as there are already too many competitors for this on the internet. They wanted the designs to be ready on the provided time. I think It’s hard for us UX designers to provide a good solution without performing any process, we get so many doubts while working on this kind of project.

For this we were two people working on it trying to complete the designs for both desktop and mobile. I was working on both of the devices for the most part. If any one of us get stuck we discuss with each other and try to create a solution for it. Even though the client didn’t want any kind of UX process in the project I myself performed competitors research to get the user interface ideas and design trends currently going on we didn’t charge the client for the competitors research.
As we were not allowed to perform any of the UX process, I myself did a competitor's research and analysed the competitors for user experience and user interface design both. I went through couple of job hunting websites and couple of online courses platforms:

Competitors research really helped me for this project. I was able to analyse the user experience and the user interface part as well and what are the design trends going on right now.
After doing the competitors research I started working on the designs not the Lo Fidelity wireframes but the Hi Fidelity mockups for desktop and mobile both. I had fun working on the designs then prototyping them using invision.

I was able to complete this project with the help of my co worker and we made the client happy. Although we had a hard time getting the flow right due to no UX process involved, it was kind of fun to work on this project.
